I think having an all species town would shake things up, especially if most of your dreamies are cats.

Which do you love more? All cat town can be boring since all is just cat =x but you can always start with a dreamies town and slowly change it to cat town if you like.

dreamies! I personally know that I get bored if I had to stick to one species only, but if your heart desires to do a cat themed town, go for it!

but I personally say, go for dreamies~

oohhh I was going to name it Meow and have paw print roads....but then dreamy town would have Merengue
