Positive.

I use it and it does it fine.
Something I recommend though, if you're using Windows, just use the Movie Maker, don't waste space on the software put in with it.

DON'T GET REGULAR DAZZLE DVD RECORDER.

Only Plus and Platinum can upload vids to youtube. I got Plus for $65 at Best Buy and it didn't come with AV cables, not to mention it was on sale.

You have to save the file to your computer first.
BUT WAIT.

You can use the webcam feature on YouTube and it'll treat the Dazzle as a webcam.
