Capcom has been teasing us for over a month, telling us that they will be making several "megaton" announcements on the week of October 15th. Well, that week is here, and the news are:

So, Street Fighter IV was indeed the highlight of the megaton announcements. I don't know if we'll be getting more news during the week. I'm certainly disappointed that a Lost Planet port for the PS3 was announced but there was no mention of an Okami port for the Wii. It looks like I'll have to search for those few Okami copies available to get mine.

Monday:
- Bionic Commando: Almost 20 years after the first game was released, Capcom has decided to make a new Bionic Commando, which will be appearing on the PS3, Xbox360 and PC. I hope they don't screw up this one, as Bionic Commando is one of my favorite games for the NES (when are you going to put it on the VC, Capcom? When???)
I wonder why the Wii version was left out. I mean, the console may not have the graphical power, but it would be interesting to use the bionic grappling hook with the Wiimote. Follow the link to find a special feature at gamespot.

Wednesday:
- Street Fighter IV: WOOOHOOO, Street Fighter is back. The game is one year away and no platforms have been mentioned yet. There is a trailer, which is now available in youtube here. I hope this is just a teaser, and the game doesn't end up being in 3D. I don't want Street Fighter EX IV, I want Street Fighter IV in all its 2D beauty.
- Dark Void: A new sci-fi action/adventure IP.
- Ace Attorney: Apollo Justice: The latest game on the Gyakuten Saiban is coming to the DS, with a new protagonist.
- Lost Planet: Well, it's not an Xbox 360 exclusive anymore, as it's been announced for the PS3. Now, give me Dead Rising, and I'll have pretty much have no reason to even consider buying a 360.
- Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix: The game has been postponed until 2008. It also was referred as an Xbox Live Arcade game. I thought that it was also coming for the PS3.
- Wii Love Golf: From the Everybody's Golf team comes a cute golf sim.

- Okami: Finally, after so many rumors had resurged, it's finally confirmed: Okami is getting a Wii version! Ready at Dawn studios is handling the port (I wonder why an American studio is handling the port. I hope they don't mess up). You can see the news on their website.
