Can you register a downloaded game on Nintendo club?

their giving out a free Pokemon game if you have one of the six games! i got Animal crossing and Mario cart but both are downloaded please help!

It's possible to register downloaded games on Club Nintendo if you link your accounts [CN/NNID] together. I believe you can access this option through the eShop settings.
