can you push an amiibo card villager out with another amiibo card?

the title says everything :/

i want to switch Marina out with Octavian but i don't have his card YET (i will get it no matter what) so i'm thinking about moving Wolfgang in with an amiibo card just to have a cranky.
i also have a Marina card, so could i just continually cycle Marina and Wolfgang? i probably won't do this though, just asking.
