That is also something I wouldn't mind finding out. I'm making a new town, so if I happen to see any names I don't recognize I'll mention it to you.

Really hoping we can adopt them from other people, though. Buying Amiibo stuff really isn't on my bugdet.

I feel like they wont move-in randomly because they want you to buy their card but idk about the trading thing, possibly?

The video showed it was like the campsite. You have to befriend them and then they can move in.

OP prob meant if you can go to another village which have them moving and ask them to move in. Same for the campsite.

same. I've never seen an amiibo card sold in this country... plus I'd need to buy a card reader or whatever -_-; I'm basically hoping this forum will be my way of getting the items/villagers through trading like usual.

Yeah I figured it was likely just a cash grab from Nintendo. Guess I can't really make much use of this update in the end. :/
