Can villagers who request houses come back?

Hey guys, I would like to create Chrissy's home but I don't currently have the items I want to decorate it. Will she still be around in a couple of real time days/when got the items?

Yes she can come back, but of course, villagers are randomized so it might take a few days for her to actually come back. You can do her request now and finish it, because when you visit her again you can ask for a remodel or a new house. That's how simple it is.
