Can Villagers Try To Move Out On Toy Day?

I know that Jingle arrives at 6pm in New Leaf, but was wondering if villagers can try to move out before Jingle arrives? Do they speak normally before Jingle comes? Because my villagers are all like "thanks for the present Santa" when I talk to them now, cause I forgot to go on the game before 6pm! I don't want to lose any of my villagers! :-( someone please let me know!

Villagers cannot move out on in game holidays.

I've have a villager move out on Toy Day while I was cycling. They can also ping you and tell you that they plan to move.

Ah maybe it was they cant move in on holidays my bad.

Back to wii days they cant move on holidays, but they changed that to New Leaf

They can move out on holidays -- I had Lolly choose December 24 as her move-out date. And they can decide to move on holidays -- on Toy Day, I had Gala tell me that Frita was thinking of moving. However, they cannot ping you about it on holidays... I had to TT to the next day to get Frita to actually tell me herself, so I could tell her to stay.

Yeah,PandaBerry is right.Phoebe told me Derwin wanted to move on Toy Day but he wouldn't ping me until today.
