can someone teach me how to get dreamies

I want to keep Rizzo before he decides to leave me. BTW I don't have a dream address yet.

Dreamy villagers are just villagers you want. People have wishlists of dreamies they prefer. What are your villagers now?

Dreamies are just villagers that you love and want to stay permanently in your town, I'd visit the AC wiki and look through the personalities, and decide which villagers you want. You should be able to keep Rizzo by telling him not to go if he ever pings you to leave, but rarely he may go without telling you. Just make sure to talk to him everyday, and you should be good.

Oh OK I see, I thought I had to do some extra things to keep him permanently. Right now I have

Angus
Nana
Amelia

And Bangle

Got it, thank you! So I'm doing what I should be doing with him. Should probably talk to my other villagers... I'm a bad mayor Lol. But he's the only one I like right now.I pay the most attention to him.

Thank you, it makes a lot of sense now but what about the ones that I don't want? I assume I just don't talk to them cause I know we can only have certain number of villagers at a time.

Oh, I see, dreamies - dream town.

As everyone above says, they are villagers that YOU want for your town and it does not matter whether they are popular or not. You might want them because of the Theme of your town or you just like the look of them or even because you had them in the past A/C games and really want them in your new game.

There's two methods of moving out a villager

1. Ignoring a villager: Just don't speak a word to the villager. When the villager moves in just introduce yourself and never speak to the villager after that. He will eventually move out with no prior warning.

2. Befriending: You don't necessarily have to be bestest friends with villagers, just until they are able to ping you. Once every two days villagers would ask to leave. There's a chance that your unliked villager will be asking you to move.

Villagers move after 5 days of asking, then they will be boxed up. You can give your moving villager away as a gift or for bells, just make sure the person talks to the boxed villager and leaves on the train. You can get villagers like this also.

This is a list of villagers by species just so you can get perspective of what villagers you want.

There's no 100% way to keep villager permanently, no matter how good of a friend they are they will always have a chance to move.

Aww I had Phoebe! She was cute. well I hope Rizzo doesn't leave but we'll see. Thanks for the help everyone I'm new to forums and I really like it.
