can I get ankha back?

so awhile ago I hadn't been playing my acnl game. Ankha ended up moving out to my brothers friends town but now my brothers friend said ankha is moving on the 7th. On the day she's in boxes is it still possible to go over to the town and ask her to move back?

If you have gone thorough the 16 villager cycle, yes. If not, you won't get the "move to my town" option even if you speak to her in boxes. If you happen to own her amiibo card, though, and scan her yourself, there's no need to go through the cycle.
