Can i come to your town to sell my turnips!

ok, now I'm worried. Apparently there's been terrible tornados in Illinois, at least 50 homes destroyed and 2 people dead. Does anyone know if she's from there?

I thought I saw something in her profile about Canada. Were they hit, too? And she might not even be in Canada, I don't know. It looks like a really terrible storm, though, and I hope it just knocked out her internet for a while. :(

I hope so too. And it's not like we can do anything either way. Still.. hope she's okay. I don't know about Canada, normally I'd say its too late in the year, but I would've said the same for Illnois too. :[

I really do feel sorry for Americans >: We always complain about the weather in Britain, but the worst thing we get is a few inches of snow and bad ice. We get strong winds and we did have a bad storm this year, but we don't have tornados >: Even what we do have is rare. I do hope she's okay, and anyone else for that matter >: It's sad that people have died, but I do truly hope it has only been 2 people D:

Aw, I really appreciate everyone's concern! :') My power was knocked out yesterday, and it's said to be out for the next few days. My family is seeing if we can access a generator. I can keep TTing to make sure that my turnips will sell for the same price, so anybody that was not able to sell theirs can use my Re-Tail. I live in Michigan. Although the storms have stopped, many power lines are down. I'm charging my 3DS right now, and if we're able to get wifi at my house, I'll open my gates for everybody. c:

Wait, I'm very sorry. Out of stupidity, I forgot to TT, and my turnip price is only 138. >_<
My apologies for raising your hopes.

Thank God you're okay. I was worried since yesterday. I forgot to sell some of my turnips yesterday and liked your 600 bell price, but the main thing is that you and your family are fine. Don't worry about raising hopes!

According to Doctor Who, you're the ones getting all the alien attacks :}

seriously though, we do get a menagerie of weather that tries to kill you; hurricanes, earthquakes, tornadoes, blizzards. It is a rather large country, so don't get too alarmed by the news; the more spread out you are, the more things can hit you.

What is alarming is the time of year for this weather. Tornadoes in the northern Midwest are commonly thought of as summer occurrences.

Dude, you're running on a generator, don't worry about it. NO ONE can blame you (and if they tried they'd be descended upon by angry TBTers). Just glad you're okay. ^o^ The tornado in Illinois was just the first thing I saw when looking up the weather, so that's why I was worried.

Were there any funnel clouds, or was it just a watch? I'm in central WI, and it was just very blustery here. I wouldn't have even thought about tornadoes if it weren't for the news.
