Can I borrow a golden axe?

So I just started my new town yesterday.. I was wondering if I could borrow a golden axe? Of course I'll give it back, and if you don't want to give it I guess you can chop yourself?

I'd love to, but I'm a few days away from getting one myself. What I did was chop down trees necessary for the paths

Paths are everything. Once you have that laid out, you can pretty much built stuff in your town easier. The ideas just come flowing out. There's no need to chop every tree in town.

Yeah that's true.. I guess I just like the idea of having just fruit trees and I can of course use the regular axes
