So how does it work I know you need to start with a new player

Basically the same way as when you're plot-resetting. Create a new character and check if you have a camper. If not; quit and repeat. If yes; check who it is. If it's someone you don't like; quit and repeat. If you do like them, talk to Isabelle and then save your game.

You're 100% guaranteed to have a camper the day after building the campsite. I used it to get Molly that way, but keep in mind chances are you will have to try many times. I think it took me over 3 days of resetting to finally get her!

Good luck. It's cool as long as you're not looking for someone specific. You may never find them if that's the case. Also gets tiring.
