I don't know where to put this, but Merengue is in my campsite.
And... I have ten villagers. One I really hate is moving out on the 20th but I really want Merengue.

Is there any possibility of me getting her?

Sorry to break it to you, but it's impossible to get Merengue if she's in a campsite and you already have 10 villagers. Other people can't pick up villagers from campsites, either.

Isn't there an increased chance for her to come back to the campsite some other time, though?

No, there really is no way to increase your chances; there's just chance a particular villager may appear or not.

Hi, I normally post over at ACC, but wanted to let you know my observations of my campsite in my cycling town. When I'm cycling fast looking for a particular villager I always check who's in my campsite. The trend I have noticed is that the villager who shows up in the campsite almost always shows up as the new villager in town after 2 or 3 cycles. To make it work though you need to only have 8 villagers, as this particular cycling method depends on fluctuating between 8 and 9 villagers.

If you're not willing to randomly lose other villagers in your town, however, there really is no way to get Merengue.

I'm not sure if this would work but if someone could get merengue to move into their town and they cycled until she was in boxes you could always cycle out a villager and get merengue to move in. just a thought.

I thought of something. What if I keep my Ds on standby, with dialogue still up with merengue until soleil moves?
Won't she not leave if I do that?

You'd have to keep your ds on for three days... I do know that if you walk into a camper tent at, for example, 5:59 a.m., it won't hit the cutscene for a new day until you leave the tent; therefore, I think that you wouldn't get past even one day because the 6 a.m. cutscene wouldn't be triggered, and it couldn't update to a new day.

So it won't even work?
I mean, if it does I am willing.
