Call of Duty Elite program to charge subscription fee

Well, while searching the internet for an intresting topic to post about, I came across this video.

Apparently the Call of duty elite feature...whatever it is (haven't really been following it..) Is some online program or something for like stat tracking on Call of duty, MW3 stats most likely...,Kinda like the rockstar social club and L.A.Noire. But Activision is going to charge a subscription fee for the stat tracking thing, or, the stat tracking could be free and the subscription part could be for some extra goodies (skins, special maps, modes and mods maybe?) But either way, from what we know right now, (and there is another video link in the above video for the elite program, which I have not watched) what do you think about the elite program and this "protest" this guy is doing. I personally don't care either way .

Edit:Ok thelegendofkarl trailer is hilarious...and apparently the elite feature is for all cod games like black ops, it doesnt just start with MW3.

Some stuff will be free like stats, there's going to be paid content and they mentioned something about never having to buy map packs again or some con like that.

I think it's funny how Bugnie do a very similar thing with their site and the stats you can obtain on the Halo games.
What's better still is that that's all free.
Yes there is Bungie Pro, but you get most of the meat for free. (Trevor can say otherwise as he's the only one I know that has had Pro)

I do however, feel that this is going to be much like the MW2 boycott.. as in that everyone will complain, but will still be playing it.

Yeah. I'm on edge, but I know that if I don't get it, my brother will. :/ So regardless, my boycott is fruitless.

I still think everyone has misunderstood this..
You don't pay for the website stuff like stats, this is Activision's equivalent to what Bungie provides.
So you are only paying for the extras, not the stats themselves

Apparently the monthly fee also includes all Call of Duty DLC while you are a subscriber.
