I played it with a few friends last night and it was awesome, and I definitely recommend that you pick this up asap. Too good to pass upMino said:This game is now second on my list of games I want to buy again.
Followed by Gears, Orange Box and Assassin's Creed.
Check out IGN's video review, I really want to play the hardcore multiplayer mode.
Did you happen to play very much of the multiplayer?TwilightKing said:I played it with a few friends last night and it was awesome, and I definitely recommend that you pick this up asap. Too good to pass upMino said:This game is now second on my list of games I want to buy again.

I'd say we totalled about 3 hours of play and it certainly maintained its awesomeness the whole time, and the friend who owned it said all the features and game modes were great and the online is awesome. He has about 11 hours total playtime so far overall. The only downside i've seen is that there's slight lag sometimes when you call in the air attack in multiplayer, but he also said that he hasn't experienced any lag while online.Mino said:Did you happen to play very much of the multiplayer?TwilightKing said:I played it with a few friends last night and it was awesome, and I definitely recommend that you pick this up asap. Campaign is OK for a few times, but I don't want ot be constantly playing it.
I'm not worried about lag, that usually isn't related to the game, at least on XBL.TwilightKing said:I'd say we totalled about 3 hours of play and it certainly maintained its awesomeness the whole time, and the friend who owned it said all the features and game modes were great and the online is awesome. Ahahah, pretty much what happened to me, but I still found it a lot of fun even though my friends slaughtered me pretty bad

We played without the airstrikes, so the only perks we got was radar, I wanted to try hardcore mode but they were too scared. D:ZELDAFREAK104 said:I played it a friend's house, I was the best one there so I kept getting air strikes and stuff

The radar in Halo is OK, since it is a proximity thing, and it's small and only shows direction. This game shows the layout of the area and their positions at all times. I was able to not die at all in a single round on one of the more open maps, simply because I could always keep them at range (I always use the sniper). Another good thing is that when people make noise, they blip on the radar, so that adds to the realism, even though it doesn't technically make sense, 4-player split screen can be hard because of 4 different people making different sounds.Gengar said:Oh, yeah I got this game too.
Like Mino mentioned above, I also really like the no-radar thing. That way there actually is an element of surprise...unlike in Halo. >.>
The single player mode is actually really hard...to me, anyway. I'm still kind of a novice to first-person-shooter games...
