There's a thing where after you void a villager you visit someone's town or they visit yours and there's a chance
you can get a villager back (that's all I know about it)

basically this. During cycling I tend to get the last villager they voided, sometimes I dont. for example someone had TT-d out francine and was upset about it, came to my town to pick another villager, and I didn't pick her bunny up, however I've gotten zucker and blanche from other people who voided them before picking a villager from my town. I also got fauna from the wifi pool uvu my lil bby
