Building placement help

The area covered by patterns is the emplacement for Bob, my futur new villager.



The problem is that even after more than 300 resets, Bob just won't install his house in this very precise area.
Is it just unluck ? Maybe I should keep trying ? Or maybe this area is not "fertile" for the emplacement of a new house ?

I must underline the fact that I want that ALL my 10 dreamies must FIT in a very small island of my city. And the spot covered by patterns I just show you in this picture is (I think) the only possible additional area in which a house can be built.

Eventually, I'd like someone to come in my city and tell me exactly if there is a true possibility to install my 10 villagers in my island. Help is welcome.

Despite my experience this is really the most difficult mission I've never experiencing before.

If you've truly reset 300 times, sounds like its not going to happen. That looks like a narrow spot. Just my opinion here, having done this myself, but I'd just reset until you found a spot you could live with. I'm not saying it's impossible, but if you've done it that many times it just doesn't seem worth the effort.

I can't post proper picture of my map layout since I'm still resetting for Bob but... damn... there is something I can't understand !

1/3 of my small island is provided for my house and his large garden entrance. The rest of the island is for the 10 villagers (lol). I have a precise spot for Bob as I said later on my first post, but even after ALL my resets (maybe not 300 but I'm at it for 10 hours now... 10 whole hours of resetting...) and each time the new emplacement for Bob's house is NOT EVEN in the empty part of the island provided for my large house's entrance (and I know there is enough place, maybe 13x7 cases).

C'mon ! It's not normal ! There is just patterns in this empty area.... Which mean that my patterns provide Bob to install his house in the island ? No, no. It's impossible. Flowers and patterns usually not provide installation.

I don't get it ! In my previous resetting for another dreamie of mine, his house was sometimes installed in my island.

Maybe it's just unluck ?

I would be really revived if I see Bob's house in my island... even if it's in the area provided for my house, it would be reviving enough.

There is enough room for Bob's house there, so it's just bad luck I'm afraid. I suggest you keep resetting until you're happy with the placement (some people reset for days!). You could also TT back to the previous day and build a PWP and character house to prevent the villager from putting his house in certain areas (by using the 3DS clock). Good luck!

Next time I'll build 30 fountains in my town so my dreamies will be forced to build their houses in the island.

Just build as many cheap PWPs as you can, that's what I did. You can always remove them later. Plot resetting can be annoying but it's worth it in the end!

ahh this happened to me with marina and francine. sadly i got impatient and got rid of them and had to cycle 32 villagers in order to get them back in the right place. octavian was like that too but i had patience that time and after over 400+ resets he was in the perfect spot. i know how stressful it can be and i wish you luck in placing bob in his desired place!

Woaw, very very nice and proper emplacement.

I'm jealous. In my small island there is no chance for my houses being aligned like these.

In two hours or so, I think I'll abandon resetting.
Maybe I will unfortunately let Bob move out after TT. I will then build the PWPs I need and I'll finally ask to another villager I like to move in...

It's maybe the best issue... I don't know.

In my previous city, I did the 16 cycle thing to get Pashmina back and all while trying to hold 9 dreamies. But cycling 32 villagers and resetting 400 times. Woaw. I think I'd be unable to be this patient.
