Bridge Question

So I'm curious if anyone has tried this. I have two bridges in my town. I'm not building a third one because I still have two styles I want to unlock (and those two styles are the ones I want).

I was just thinking...are you more likely to get a bridge request if you only have one bridge? I'd like to unlock the two remaining bridges so I can get them in place and start placing paths downs and building up the village. Was just curious if anyone had tried only having one bridge and their luck unlocking the bridge styles.

Well the other day, it was the day after I'd paid off my second bridge, and it was built, and I got a request for the brick bridge. I think it's just random.

I read somewhere, that the only restriction to get bridges requests, was to not have 3, but it said nothing about the odas being more with just 1, in fact I got brick and wooden, after I build my 2nd bridge.

I dont think so, Ive had 2 bridges for like only 3 weeks of having my new town and they have suggested almost all the bridges (Except for Zen, MY FAV ONE. Despite the fact that Ive had 3 Cranky villagers at one point :l ).

Everything else is left to the whims of your villagers and their pinging. (I do believe that talking to them constantly makes it easier for them to ping you, so you get more chances to have them suggest PWPs! And the diving trick of course )

I didn't think so, but thought it was worth asking. I just thought, maybe if you only had one bridge villagers would be like "Hey, it's difficult to get around we need another bridge". lol

completed my second (suspension) bridge and then the next day, Dotty requested the modern bridge
