How the heck do I work for Brewster! I've been on tons of sites and everyone is saying that you need to buy six/seven cups of coffee, and I'm pretty sure I've bought the same amount or maybe more. Now, they all just said cups, not take out/to go, so I'm assuming they mean sit down and buy the coffee from Brewster.

Now, I bought like two or three cups before Brewster said I could start getting take out, and when I unlocked it I got take out for maybe 3-4 or 5 days straight? And then I stopped and went back to getting coffee from him and drinking it there, and I've been doing this since Monday, and I still can't work for him!!

Brewster has certain hours he'll let you work (11am-11pm), and if there's an event in town you won't be able to. The game considers the beginning week of October to be an event week because of Jack in your town. I think there's other random-ish months/days where you can't work, but I can't recall them from the top of my head.

Ok, I asked Brewster before it was 11 am today so I'll try again. But this entire week I've been trying to ask him between those times so I don't think it'll work

Like I said before, you also can’t work at the beginning of October because it counts having Jack in town as an event. Even f you’ve already talked to him and he’s gone, it still won’t work.
