My friend recommended that I try it out, so I downloaded the demo. In the first place you can go, you get attacked by monsters that can one shot you(200 damage) or ones that can deal 1/2 of your health (~80), while you can only do very little damage to it. Is the rest of the game this one sided? (I think it was called the Tower of Winds)

I haven't played this in awhile but you will get stronger! You just need better weapons, armor, accessories, etc. It's an amazing game! The story is really good, I spoiled the story by reading ahead in walkthroughs. But I definitely recommend that you buy it :)

Yeah, it does get easier as you go along, so don't be put off too much by the demo. There are a few fights that are very difficult if you haven't got the "right" weapons or if you haven't levelled up enough, but you shouldn't usually get one-shotted.

The difficulty in the full game is different than the demo (there are tutorials and you start out with easier enemies, for example) so no, it won't be one-sided c: I think the demo is meant to showcase the new gameplay, which is the Brave system. I had the same problem when playing the demo and it was solved when I used Brave for all of the characters. Just spam Brave for enemy encounter and you should be okay.

The demo is kinda hard, yes, but nothing unbearable. In the full game in can customize your difficulty which is cool for new jrpg players! The full game is amazing, Agn?s is amazing. I need to finish it though...

The game is worth playing and I've never played the demo, but the game itself isn't too bad with difficulty. Plus as others have said, you can change the difficulty levels at will. I had a tendency to level grind and then turn off enemy encounters while in dungeons. Definitely helped save healing items that way.

I used that strategy early in the game, but later on you get so much money that I didn't really need to save items, unless some stuff needed for certain jobs. Money farming is also a thing, so

Currently playing the game. You'll get stronger. I'd recommend getting Agnes the blessed shield. It heals your team without using MP.

But your just playing the demo though so. But I think you can transfer stuff
