Bravely Default or Harvest moon?

I feel like my variety of gaming is becoming less and less... varied.
I went from playing Need for Speed, Tekken, Disney infinity, Lego Marvel superheros, Disneyland adventures and Animal crossing to just Animal crossing: New leaf.

I've heard lots about the two games in the title and was wondering which one you think is best and why. I don't know anything about these games so if you have played them, please explain c:

I'm definitely going to try getting back into Tekken tag tournament 2 but I don't like Tekken 6 as much.
I'll probably end up playing Disney infinity and Disneyland adventures this summer to cure my depression of not going to Disney World this year *cries*

Please help me make this decision! Also, feel free to make any other recommendations. Please bear in mind that I'm 12 so no GTA or Call of Duty for me.

I feel like I'm becoming more and more boring.

If you want to move away from Animal Crossing-type games, then go for Bravely Default. If you want something similar to, but different from, Animal Crossing then go for Harvest Moon. If you want something that kind of combines the two genres, try Rune Factory.

But, then again, I've never played Bravely Default.

Download the demo - it's free and will give you a really good idea of what the game is like. It's an excellent demo, although many have found it confusing and/or difficult - including me! I gave it a second chance though and am loving it now, so much so that hubby is getting me the full game for my birthday. Try it on Easy mode, give it time and see how it pans out for you. There's stuff you can do that will unlock items for the full game if you decide to get it.

i have harvest moon but tbh im on the first day of the second month because i was so /bored/
but i played the demo for bravely default for 7 hours straight and i love it im getting the game

i haven't played bravely default or the demo but tbh it looks way better than harvest moon
harvest moon can get a bit repetitive and the characters are pretty bland (a better alternative is rune factory 4, since the characters are better and it has rpg elements too. its a great game)

Bravely Default is like Final Fantasy. I'm playing the demo and it's good!
Harvest Moon isn't that good in my opinion. Getting started is very long. I'd also recommend you Rune Factory instead.
