Bought the MK8 bundle. Bricked on start up.

Just my luck, right. I buy the MK8 bundle, come home super excited, then it fails halfway through the initial system update install and is now, I'm guessing, bricked. I have to unplug it/plug it back in just to get to the logo screen, then it sits frozen on that screen forever. No return to set up and update or anything. Bricked, right? I am so sad right now.

I have read some of the posts regarding issues with Mario Kart 8 on this board and a lot of people have had issues similar to this with the Nintendo Wii U Mario Kart 8 bundle's Mario Kart 8 disc.

My console and Mario Kart 8 disc work fine and I only purchased the Blue Spiny Shell edition.
I purchased my Nintendo Wii U at the full price (unfortunately) back in November 2012 when the console was first released.

YES! OH MY GOD!
I bought the bundle and I came home and played it, unlocked a few cups and really good vehicles. I woke up the next day, only to find that the disk couldn't be read! I tried everything, and I still don't know what is wrong with it. I went to Best Buy to exchange it for a new one, and so far mine works fine. I'm just nervous it will get all jacked up later.

THAT'S WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU GET SOMETHING MADE IN CHINA..

Yeah... It was def bricked though. I never even got to play MK8. I had to go back today and exchange it for a new bundle entirely. This one seems to be working. Here's hoping it doesn't go wrong!
