Bought items from Timmy (Resident Services)

Hi Guys,

I just started my island this morning (Australia). I played through the tutorial and made enough money to buy a generator from Timmy at Resident Services.

Timmy took my money but I cannot find where he placed my Generator. Do bought items from Resident services appear the next day in my mail box or should it have appeared in my inventory?
