Congrats on your new town! You have some really nice starters there, I especially love Rod haha as i've had him in towns previously. I believe you have atleast two tier 1s there however i'm not completely sure. Are you going to keep some of them or are you going to sell all of them? haha

I liked Molly, Chrissy and Ankha better.

Honestly having a second cartridge makes ACNL sooooo much more fun!
I was almost bored until I got a second town. It's been a blast of fun ever since!

I agree. It's much more fun having 2 towns on the go. I only use the second one for a cycling town at the moment but it gives me something else to do in between my main town. I like having one completed town (pretty much) and another to keep me occupied.

Hope you don't mind me asking, but I always find it so tempting when others say they have more then one cartridge/copy of the game. However, I seem to be having a time management problem

and I only have one cartridge. I hardly make any progress in other nintendo games because I almost always play animal crossing.

So how do you do it? Do you have a scheduled timeframe for this game specifically? Do you all go to school or do you work?

Hi and welcome to the boards!

You asked some genuine questions. Questions I used to ask myself. Let me try to answer:

1. Animal Crossing New Leaf is my main video game. This is it for me! I've always enjoyed Animal Crossing - I played all the previous ones casually. But now this is the game I play nearly everyday.

2. I use the game clock to my advantage. I keep track of dates of each of my towns. I keep track of who "pinged" to leave and when. In my main town I'm a few weeks behind. Some people don't play that way - they keep their town an exact time. It's a preference.

3. I don't play everyday. I had a big event I worked a few weeks ago so I didn't play much that week.

4. I don't have a lot of the items other people have here on the boards. My towns aren't perfect like some people. My mayors house isn't fully expanded. This isn't a race.

Take some time and figure out how you want to play. Decide what goals you want to achieve....over time.
It's taken me over a year and a half to come close to finishing one of my bigger goals. It took time but it's worth it!
