I'm really bored of my town, and I don't know what to do to make things fun. I have all my dreamies, I've caught all the bugs and fish, and I've got a majority of the badges that I can get. I'm trying to complete my catalogue, but that isn't too exciting. I also can't change the landscaping of my town, because the river takes up so much space there isn't really anything I can do to change things. I don't want to reset because I love my town so much. I'm so proud of it but things are so boring. What can I do to make things fun?

Also, I don't want to take a break from things because my birthday is next Friday (29th). I could take a break, but I would like to play on my birthday without worrying about someone moving and all the things that come along with TT.

Wow you've accomplished so much in your town! :D Congrats on getting all your dreamies! :D

How about redecorating your house or your museum rooms? You could have fun creating some themed room, and make a game out of it by basing it around the items that you haven't catalogued yet? Or refurbish some items, and make yourself design some new QR codes.

Have you received all your villagers pics? :D Have you grown all the hybrids? That's always fun. :D

Have you got all the pwp requests even if you're not going to build them? :D

I know you said you don't want to reset, but if you are that bored with your town, then maybe you should. If you've hit a dead-end with your landscaping, and you don't want any new villagers to move in or out, then I don't see what you have left to accomplish. Getting badges and completing the catalog are kind of tedious and not that rewarding. You seem to be at a total standstill with your town, and maybe things would be more interesting for you if you thought of some things to do with your town before you say goodbye and then reset so you can experience the game in its entirety again.

If you don't have all the playable character people you could always try to find a space for their houses to upgrade them and decorate them.

I've thought about resetting, but I feel as if I would regret it too much. Before New Leaf came out, I mainly played City Folk. I had accomplished so much in that game, and my town was beautiful. I was pretty much in the same position as I am right now. So I decided to reset and start over. I could never get into City Folk after that. My disc doesn't even have a town saved on it. I'm worried that would happen in New Leaf and I don't want to ruin the game for myself. I went through this once before with New Leaf after I restarted my first town. For a very long time I couldn't get back into the game or find a town I liked.

You could buy another copy of the game if you don't want to reset.
