Blue/Pink town ideas?

I recently restarted my acnl game because i really desperately wanted to create a themed town!
I wanted to go with pink and light blue (like my town flag) but I'm not really sure how to achieve this.
I'm open to suggestions of just about anything; pwp's, villagers,plants,layouts,paths,house decor etc
I've got a picture of my flag pattern (in clothes form aha) just so you can see the colours i'm talking about

Oooh, I've got the acnl wiki app and I spend way too much of my spare time plotting out villagers for themed towns considering I don't have a themed town myself.
For villagers, maybe:
Julian
Ursala
Filbert
Vladimir
Francine
Chrissy
Bam
Gayle
Sprinkles
Gala

I usually try to do only one of each animal, but Chrissy and Francine seemed just too perfect for the theme

I would say the easiest way would be to cover your town in the two different hydrangea bushes. Definitely pink flowers of any type. Not sure if blue flowers are too dark for your liking. Blue pansies have that light blue center, though, so they might go more with the coloring you're aiming for.

As for PWPs, I would suggest doing all of the Fairy Tale objects. Also some of the Uchi suggestions as well (picnic blanket, windmill, and maybe the wisteria trellis, even though it is purple.). Probably wouldn't hurt to throw some white in there as well (wood bench, instrument shelter, bell, hammock, and outdoor chair). Also, any of the illuminated PWP would look good in a blue/pink town at night.

As for the villagers, here are my picks:

was definitley thinking about mixing up hydrangea bushes with blue n pink flowers along the paths but a lot of the blue flowers are darker like you said (shame )

Since the blue part of your flag looks like water, the first thing I thought of was lots of fountains. The statue fountains especially would be really pretty. I've always wanted to create a bush maze with a statue fountain at the center.

Why are none of you flops talking about queen Peanut? Her house is literally blue+pink. Lolly as well, but her house interior is more natural with brown tones.

Anyway looking at your flag, the colors really reminded me of Cookie & the bunny sisters. The illuminated pwp would be neat as well aside from the fairytale set.
Also, I'm a big fan of the hydrangea bushes.

-Princess with a castle exterior remodel. Maybe the Kiki and Lala stuff (which has a similar very light soft blue, and accent purple) could help fill it out?
-Mermaid (ahh it would be perfect. There's even a matching exterior. I think it goes nicely with spa items, statues and fish too so the set can easily carry a house)
-customized Blue or Alpine in a one room house, especially if you like custom pattern lining. Like a cozy cabin.

And I agree with everyone, Hidrengas would be a perfect flower, maybe also a mix of blue and white violets? The white violets look more pink then white IMO

Olive isn't blue or pink, but her house is a really nice light blue/pink.
