Hi all! Welcome to my Secret Santa! This year I want to help spread the festivity around the Bell Tree Forums, and so, have decided to organise a Secret Santa.
What is Secret Santa?
Extracted from Wikipedia.
Secret Santa is a Western Christmas tradition in which members of a group or community are randomly assigned a person to whom they anonymously give a gift. Often practiced in workplaces or amongst large families, participation in it is usually voluntary. It offers a way for many people to give and receive a gift at low cost, since the alternative gift tradition is for each person to buy gifts for every other person. In this way, the Secret Santa tradition also encourages gift exchange groups whose members are not close enough to participate in the alternative tradition of giving presents to everyone else.
TL;DR you give gifts and you receive gifts anonymously!
(Well sort of, read on below. I couldn't make it 100% anonymous because you have to physically visit the town, and that would reveal you regardless!)
How will it work?
I will use Random.org/lists to decide who is gifting who. You will receive via inbox the wishlist of your receiver, and you are to purchase as little or as many items or such on the list. Your receiver won't necessarily be your giver as well. (Which means you'll have to visit/be visited twice). If you would like to be involved please follow the instructions in the subheading below ! Afterwards, on the 11th/12th of December I will distribute anonymous user's wishlists to you via Inbox. The username belonging to your wishlist will be revealed on the 20th. You have at least 8-9 days (20th) to purchase/get the items, but you do not have to contact and deliver their wishlist until the 25th!

Anonymous wishlists distribution via Inbox: 12th of December
Username reveal distribution via Inbox: 20th of December
Contacting of givers and receivers: 20th of December-25th of December
How to be eligible for Secret Santa
It's easy as one, two, three.
1) In this thread:
a. Write in this thread your username, timezone, mayor and town name
b. Write “Santa smells!” afterwards
c. Highlight the text after the [Extra]'s spoiler in Step 2) in between the black square brackets

3) By successfully inboxing me and posting in this thread the correct format, you agree to the following:
a. I will do my best to fulfill my receiver's wishlist
b. I will not troll or be unfair to this event; eg. ask for 100 presents and only getting my receiver one small thing, going against the rules of my receiver's town, sending in an impossible wishlist (eg. all my dreamies and 100m bells)
Wishlist Information
Feel free to request anything AC:NL related! You can ask for things such as drawings of your mayor or villager, TBT, something silly like a good AC pun, or simply a moridb.com wishlist.
You MUST recognise that each user has the right to not get you everything on your list, or may even contact me to ask to get you something more available. Some users may go beyond your wishlist unless you strictly say not to. If you are having trouble getting or understanding items please do not hesitate in sending me a message with the subject "[SECRET SANTA] Query - (username)". If you do not have any of your receiver's wishlist items, the retail section is your friend! Also me, I am your friend! I will do my best to help find an item for you, or help with some expenses. It is much better to have a broad wishlist rather than a limited one with say, one expensive, rare item.
Meeting Information
It is up to you and your receiver/giver to contact each other post 20th, and to rearrange a date for pickup/drop off. If you are unable to meet up before Christmas, please let your receiver know as soon as you can. I am also willing to hold items if some users are having trouble with time zones or availability.

Fill out form, message me with your wishlist. On December 12th you get someone's wishlist. You start getting their items. On December 20th you will get a message saying who your giver is. It is then up to you to meet with both your giver and receiver between December 20th and 25th, or later if you both agree. Inbox me with the subject "[Secret Santa] Query - (your username)" if you have any concerns with a wishlist!

I am not responsible for making meeting times, the people who visit your town, or end up trolling this event, however I will definitely do what I can in my power to make it a fun event for everyone. Banners for both posts are not my own.
