So, Bioshock Infinite. Getting 9's and 10's across the board. Game launches in 30 minutes here on the west coast. (For PC anyways.) Who's gettin' it? I can't waiiiit!

I can't get it until after work tomorrow, but hot damn, I'm excited. I haven't been so excited about a game since Portal 2.

I haven't played the second one, got a little bored with the first, what are my chances of enjoying this and is it necessary to play the second one beforehand? o.o

Beat it a few days ago, quite the doozy of an ending.

Played this during my study break. Have to say that it had some pretty brilliant story-telling and plot twists. Definitely up there with some of my very favourite games now, especially for this gen.

Ahh, I really want this game, but I won't be getting it for another 9 days or so maybe.

It looks really amazing aesthetically and I keep hearing great things about the story and about the game overall.
I admit I haven't played any of the previous Bioshock games though, as they never really caught my eye like this one did.
Maybe I'll consider them if I enjoy this one though?

Gotta love a game that actually makes you think for a bit after finishing it.
Irrational Games has a habit of doing that.

The game, in my opinion, is a boring, generic FPS that is trying to be pseudo-intellectual by commenting on a bunch of things such as racism, but never going deep into them. They just use it to progress the plot, and the average drooling idiot that plays COD buys this game, and feels like a genius because of the rushed ending that people try to argue as "deep" and "meaningful", when it's not. If you look at the earlier showcases of the game, it looks much better, and much more finished. They rewrote the story in just a few months, and it definitely shows.
