I just found some emulators but I dont know which games I should start playing. What are the best games for any emulator?

I like paperboy

And Mario of course!

I personally like Pok?mon Stadium 2 for the N64.

After all, you can play Pok?mon Red, Blue, Yellow, Gold, Silver, and Crystal on it!

Older Mario Party games are legendary

My favorite Mario Party games are 3 and 7. I haven't played them all, but I've played 1, 2, 3, 6, 7, and once it got to eight I just didn't really like it.

Oh, by the way, play Fire Emblem 7 if you want to try out a turn-based strategy game. It's my favourite game of all time. 2003.

Mario Kart 64, Super Smash Bros 64, GoldenEye 007, and heaps of other 64 games.

Cubivore. No contest. I dunno if that counts as "old school" or not, though. :p If not, then I guess my 2nd best would be Ecco the Dolphin.

Rayman 2 revolution (it's a remake of Rayman 2 The Great Escape).
The Legend of Zelda A Link To The Past.
Pokemon games.
Time Splitters.
Crash Bandicoot.
Spyro.
Pandemonium.
Jack and Dexter.
Ratchet and Clank.
Gex 3 Deep Cover Gecko.
That's the ones I can think of from the top of my head.

Super Mario Land 1-2, Yoshi's Island, Spyro: Year of the Dragon/Season of Flame/Season of Ice, Wario Land 3, Pokemon Gen I-II, Midtown Madness

Earthbound
Super Metroid
Contra 1-3
Castlevania 1 and 4
Super Mario World
Marvel vs Capcom 2
Silent Hill
Metal Gear Solid
Star Fox 64
F-Zero X
Perfect Dark
Metroid Prime
Battletoads
TMNT 2-4
Sonic 1-3, Sonic and Knuckles, CD
Summer Carnival '92 Recca
Super Mario Sunshine
Mario Party 2
Wario Land 2
Super Mario Land 2
Clock Tower (SNES)
Tekken Tag

List should be long enough by this point

It really depends on how far back you're willing to go.

One of my all-time favorite game series would be Monkey Island, so I really suggest looking those up. You'd probably need DOSBox to emulate them, but that's an easy thing to set up.

DOS games <3

I remember that.. Cosmo's Cosmic Adventure.

And some obscure game that I've nowhere to find the name, all I remember it had some underwater theme to it and when you completed a stage shrimps would jump under a board lol

Donkey Kong Country 1-3 are legendary (the 1st is still my favorite though). I'd also recommend playing some super r type. It's unbearable at times due to it's difficultly but its a fun game that is a good practice in patience.

What about the first two Kid Icarus games?

Also there was an excellent side-scroll platformer on the Commodore 64, but I cannot remember what it was called.

Edit: Mayhem in Monsterland! In believe it's available on the Wii Virtual Console, but only in Europe.

Games from the N64 you should definitely check out.
Love racing? Mario Kart 64
Love shooters? Goldeneye 007
Love 2d fighters? Super Smash Bros 64
Love 3d adventures? Super Mario 64
Love turn based combat? Pokemon Stadium 64

Bubble Bobble and the follow up Rainbow Islands were great fun.

One of the best early game tunes too. The secret BB language was a clever idea which progressed into Bust a move or Puzzle Bobble depending on your location.
