Welcome to the NEW VILLAGERS POLLS.

There will be 8 polls, two per day during 4 days, so one poll for each personality.
The second personality of the day is PEPPY, the idea is to vote for the best new Peppy villager.

To select the candidates it was simple since I only picked the new "New Horizons" villagers, I know some of them are not totally new but still, I think they deserve their spot here since there's a lot of new Animal Crossing gamers too.

The idea is to choose 1 villager but if you can't choose between two of them the option to vote for 2 villagers is activated.
You can't vote for the 3 of them though.

I love the designs of both Shino and Rio. They are very different aesthetics but both really interesting.

I’ve never liked Audie, since I don’t like the way the wolves look and don’t like her sunglasses on her head or the fitness hobby either. (Naturally, she is the one of the new villagers I’ve run into the most frequently on mystery islands too, which doesn’t help),

Surprised I was one of the few who went with Rio in this poll. I just love the design of the character and would go well living right next to Phoebe, one of my favorites in all of Animal Crossing.

Shino, but mainly because I love her aesthetic. She’s definitely one of my favorite designs—so beautiful and unique—but I’m still not quite sold on her as a Peppy sadly.

Audie is pretty too, so it was a hard choice between those two. Rio I don’t like at all. Neither the bangs nor the little hairs. It’s an awkward, almost ugly look to me. Like some nosy, chain-smoking lady next door. Yikes.

Unpopular opinion and I know I'm very likely the only one here that thinks this, but I don't really care for Shino at all. Maybe I did on the initial debut but the more revealed the less interested I got.
I have to go with Audie for this one.

I think I get it. Almost like they chose her most flattering angles for the debut. I still love her, but she’s quite different from what was originally presented!

Audie for sure. Wolves are amazing and she is a really cute design. I love her and am so happy to have her on my island! =)

I also like Rio, and am glad to see her return. Not big on Shino, personally.

I love both Audie and Shino to bits! Audie was my starter peppy, and I adore her. But Shino looks incredible, and I'll be inviting her to stay as my final villager once I've had a few of the other new villagers stay for a while. It was a pleasant surprise to see her as a peppy.

I like Rio too, though. I found her on HHP, and I'm happy to have decorated her vacation home.

I voted for Audie, but it's a pretty hard choice between her and Shino.

This one is a hard one...

Audie stayed a loooong time on my island, I loved the AC fan grandma backstory, I love her design which is rather unique compared to the other wolves, pleasing colors, she's pretty, peppy personality suits her well.

On the other hand Shino really hits all the marks for me. My island is mostly Japan inspired, I absolutely dig that she's based on the Hannya demon since I have a passion for Japanese folklore and the yokai. I love her colors, the red contrast the egg shell white perfectly, the horns, the eyes. I need her on my island

I voted for the two of them. They're both top tier villagers in my book.

Concerning Rio, she's not for me, too many clashing bright colors and patterns, my eyes can't

I love Rio because i am a big fan of the ostrich villagers! I also love the colourful aesthetic, and she was an islander villager in previous games so double cool!

Shino without a doubt. Deer are one of my favourite animals, especially in Animal Crossing, and from the moment I saw Shino I absolutely adored her! Her horns really caught my eye because they looked like demon Horns and reminded me of a Japanese Oni, and I found that to be fascinating! She also has these adorable fangs that poke out when she opens her mouth, which I think adds to her charm. I could go on but you get the point.

Audie's cute, just not a villager who has ever caught my eye much. I find her backstory to be endearing however. Just that if I were to choose a female wolf villager, I would greatly favor Whitney over Audie.

As for Rio, I unfortunately can't say that her design appeals to me at all. I'm not a fan of the ostrich villagers, and I don't find anything special or unique with her design that stands out in any appealing way. I'm also not into bright colour schemes all that much.

Shino is my absolute favorite peppy and no one can take her place at this point. She reigns supreme in my heart. Her design is my absolute favorite.

For me it's Shino > Rio > Audie.

I'm not crazy about any of their designs, though. Shino is the most interesting.

As opposed to some of the other personalities whose polls you've already posted, I'd have to say this is a really tough choice because all three of these ladies are fantastic.

Whether Shino's based on a kilin or a hannya mask or whatever else, her design is wildly unique and I absolutely love it. She really makes me kind of bummed out about the 10 villager limit because I'd love to have her as a resident but there's simply no room. Maybe I'll change my mind and get tired of one of the other residents eventually, but yeah, she's awesome. Maybe in the next game.

Audie is awesome too, I love her all around design. Her face is cool and her fur coloration is pleasant and she gets bonus points for having those sunglasses on the top of her head since I tend to like villagers who have little extra accessories like hats or flowers or whatnot. On the default level I also feel like she loses some points for her house's interior design since I just don't really like it, that's not really an issue when we now have the ability to change villagers' houses. A moot point since she's not one of my residents either, but yeah.

Finally, Rio's really fun. Her rainbow feathers and star face paint are nice and I like that her name, whether in English or Japanese (where her name is Dejaneiro), is a reference to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Of the three Peppies on this list, Rio is the one that will actually become a resident of my island since she fits my island's theme very well. Birds are also my favorite types of creatures (penguins, crows, and ravens being my top favorites) so I'm fond of all of the various bird species in Animal Crossing, so she has that going for her as well.

It might be recency bias pushing her past the finish line first, but I think I'll give the vote to Shino since she's just so distinct and cool. Whereas villagers from the other personalities were mostly situations of "oh this one's a distant second," the Peppies are extremely close so it's hard to pick a second and third. Continuing that race analogy with the finish line mention a moment ago, it's like a three-way tie. If I absolutely had to choose I'd probably put Rio second and Audie third just because of Audie's default house. But yeah, again, these are all great villagers.

Rio > Audie > Shino for me.

Rio reigns supreme for me because I'm ecstatic over the fact they brought more N64/GC characters back. Being a player for 20 years, it's been a flood of nostalgia. Same thing happened when the Welcome amiibo additions came back for New Leaf.

Shino's concept is great but I think Audie fits the personality more.

Gotta hand it to Audie, who I got in the tutorial and have kept since. I love Freya as well, and their designs are quite similar as wolves with fox coloration, but that touch more saturation and the sunglasses really do make for a delightful peppy villager.

Shino and Rio both have excellent and unique designs, though. There’s a reason why peppy is one of my favorite personality types.

FYI, Rio is not an islander in the ACGC titles!

For me: Rio > Audie > Shino

Rio's been living in my ACGC town for a loooong time. Nostalgia may have something to do with why I like her so much, but I genuinely love her colours, her aesthetic, and her being the OG queen of Festivale. (sorry Pavé!)
I suppose I have strange tastes in nostalgic peppies; Pate is high up there for similar reasons. K.K. Dirge is not complete to me without her gyroid band!
(still haven't reunited with Rio in ACNH yet...someday!)

Audie's got a very nice colour scheme and I personally like her with the fitness hobby, but overall she's just in the middle.

Shino...I seem to not like the deer design in Animal Crossing to begin with. I'm a hard sell on them and there's a select few that are above average to me. I can at least appreciate Shino for her unique design, and for finally filling the empty peppy deer slot that Chelsea could have taken but didn't for some strange reason. Unfortunately, Shino is just not for me.
