Can anybody confirm whether or not that trick where you just change your router name to get the Best Buy dlc from home is still working? I'm trying to get the cat tower today and my 3DS is not acknowledging that I'm in a "Nintendo Zone" ...it's just not doing anything. Did the router name for Best Buys change? Did they add another authentication measure to make sure you're actually in a Nintendo Zone? I'm so confused because even though my phone won't let me make a wifi hotspot without a password, the trick worked for the last dlc...

I'm pretty sure I did... let me try one more time. It was a difficult task getting it to work last time, I'm pretty sure there's something off about my 3DS' ability to connect to wifi... :/

Worked for me. A couple of tips:

1) Delete all 3DS wifi connections except for the "Bestbuy". (Ensures it won't connect to another active wifi essid.)

2) Don't worry about the "Nintendo Zone". Just go into Animal Crossing like normal to go claim the item.

okay, nvm I found out what I did wrong! it was a very stupid mistake too... >_> Thank you Gamer for replying so promptly because I would have given up! XD
