Benches...

I have 3 benches in my town...and no one ever sits on them :'( I always get so jealous when I see people post pictures of their villagers sitting on benches...WHY DON'T THEY SIT ON THE BENCHES! anyone else feel my pain?

Are they where villagers tend to hang out? I have 3, and one is by the waterfall -- I've never seen anyone on it, but I rarely see anyone in that part of town. The one by my house (and 4 villagers) gets sitters a couple times a week, I think.

Yes, I also have three benches. I only seldom see animals sitting on them (I'd say it happened less than 6 times in the last 3 months). And it always was on these two bench closer to where animals hang out (around their houses, next to bridges).

I have one in front of 3 homes. Whenever I sit down with someone they close their eyes and keep looking straight forward without saying a word.....

I got his picture yesterday, so I'm sure we're bestest friends for everest.
That bench is burning in my fireplace now so no more worries.

Whenever I see someone near a bench I run to the other side of the town and then when I come back they are sometimes sitting on it.

I had one near a cliff in my old town, for some reason I would find villagers sitting there a lot.

I love finding villagers sitting on stumps even more. Especially when they're asleep. Too adorable. <3

2 of them are definitely near where they hang out...Idk why they hate them T_T

I love that too...but I would like to see them on a bench once in awhile :/

I am having the same issue. Both of my benches are by villager houses where they hang out.
No one has sat on either of the benches since I built them.

I have mine in a quiet area next to Flurry's home and she is ALWAYS sat on it, I hardly ever see her walking around. She's either in her house or on that damn bench xD Everytime I sit next to her she turns and smiles which is cute.

Recently though, Fang has taken a liking to it and I've been finding both of them sat together on it xD It looks pretty adorable but no room for me!

I sort of know what you mean. I've built 3 benches and 2 of which have not had a single villager sit on. I wonder if it's random or more likely to occur in a popular part of town.

I know your pain, believe me. I've had a little playground with two metal benches side by side right next to Flurry's house for at least two months, and I've never seen her or anyone else sitting on either of them.

I have 3 benches and one of them is right smack in the middle of a cluster of villager homes. I have about 5-6 of them sitting on it fairly frequently; sometimes in pairs, or snoozing away.

However, they don't usually sit very long so you may not have realized they do actually use it.

I only have the one bench but it is in the middle of the village, I've only ever seen one villager sitting on it though, Fang. Looked adorable :3

I've never seen villagers sitting on any of my benches. Ever. They're even where the villagers hang out, but I never see any of them sitting down. It kind of makes me sad. ;c

i built yellow bench near my Re-Tail, then next nite i saws Bunnie sitting on it, then i sat down beside her and then she got up. -_-
