I am totally obsessed with gracie and her furniture series named after her. I like the design but I understand it is expensive, like way too expensive. someone told me the couch is like 500,000 bells or something so I need bells bad. I used to 1 and a half million bells in my ABD but I got lazy and spent it till I have 500,000 bells now. I am going to try to continue to go to the island every night and catch beetles, sharks, octopi, fish, etc. to raise my bell count to afford the furniture but I need advice. how do I gain bells fast? also, I heard that you can sell forum bells for in-game bells. how do I do that? thanks!

Fix your island so expensive bugs spawn. I removed all the shrubs, flowers and left one tree on the grass.
I have 3 palm trees on each side. All the palm trees at the bottom got removed. The bugs spawn more.
Just collect the expensive bugs and catch sharks if you see one. Fishing takes up too much time. Walking around the island for bugs is fast. Usually done in 30 minutes. It helps to go inside the hut to make more bugs spawn.
I usually catch about 350 to 500 K each trip. Do it three time and you'll make a lot of bells.

Also the expensive bugs are around in the morning. You just need to go before 9am.
One of my towns is set on a different time. At 2pm in real time it's 4am in the game. Lots of expensive bugs to catch.
The giant stag, rainbow stag and scarab beetle are on the middle tree during that time. My basket was full in a short period of time while I hunted for the scarab beetle for a side player.

Go to the trading board and sell your items. Ask for a fair price for your items.
Also people sell their villagers on another part of the board. Some can go for a lot of bells.
I've never done either but I do buy items from players.

You could go the turnip route and buy from Joan every Sunday then find someone that has Reese selling them Mon-Sat at 400+ bells. I honestly wouldn't bother catching fish or octopus' unless you catch Marlins or Napoleon fish, etc...go for sharks and the high price beetles. As for trading for in game bells just post in tbt marketplace, though i'm not sure how much they go for but you could probably look up past posts.
