I'm feeling kinda sad since I saw that some people do not wanna trade with me because of this trade.
I proved you that the code was a real code. I even tried to know why the code didn't work for your friend. I even sent your bells back, even if the mistake is from your friend and NOT me.
Last night, after sending back your bells, I tried the code to see if it really doesn't work. The code WORKED. I didn't download the game so the code was still working. So I sent you a PM explaining you why it doesn't work on your friend 3DS. You DIDN'T EVEN ANSWER ME even if you were online and posting/looking threads. So i did download the game to prove here that the code worked. (I don't wanna be accusating, but it seems like you didn't wanted the code anymore because the demo is available for everyone today, and you're all happy because you got your bells back...I may be wrong, do not take that as an accusation), there are multiple reason :
What to Do:
Verify that you are entering the correct Download Code. The Download Code is a 16-digit code that is printed on the receipt you received when you made the purchase.
If some numbers are hard to read, try entering similar numbers. (For example, a 0 may look like an 8, a 5 may look like a 2, etc).
Make sure the country setting on your system is correct. How to

Your friend surely put a foreign country on his 3ds. Some people do that "for fun" (I saw that some people put "Japan" for example), and other people to get foreign DLC's.

The code was A05VP4K42E40LXQJ. If you type it now, you will see that it already been used (and RhinoK is saying that it totally doesn't work). Be careful because it can be incorrect if you type it later today. I don't know what Nintendo will do when they're gonna put the public demo (don't know if the codes will work anymore)

Use google trad if you don't understand but it says that the code already been used.
Next time please just wait for answers before posting everywhere and telling username to people...
At this point, I can't even know if you didn't do that on purpose to get your bells back because your friend was really late, and you realized that the public demo was today and you kinda bought the code "for nothing".
