Befriending Sable

Anyone else trying to befriend Sable? I remember in New Leaf it was the way you could unlock QR. I'm curious if there is any achievement or unlocking once you befriend her? Or if it's just for cool brownie points...

Sable will give you patterns you can use to customize things. She'll give you a new set a day for like 8? total sets. I can't remember the exact number but there are pretty nice ones among them. I've used a bunch throughout my island and house.

Edit: Forgot to add, these aren't added to your own custom design slots. They'll only show up if you customize furniture and there's an option for patterns.

You get additional patterns to put on furniture that also accept custom designs. I find them pretty useful and you get a set of 20 from her each day after befriending. There are 10 total sets with 20 patterns each.

well the posts above answer the questions but dont forget to talk to her everyday so your streak doesnt get ruined!
and youd get to unlock the patterns sooner this way lol
there was times that i forgot to talk to her and i felt like that delayed the unlock by soooo much ahh lol

i COULD BE WRONG but im pretty sure yes! cause if you dont youre delaying it more, as you talk to her everyday, the sooner you get to unlock it lol xD

The sets are pretty useful. I’ve used some randomly like on stalls and different things.
