I heard someone say 'Beet Juice' and I was soo confused. I always call it Beetroot.

bee troot to yourself

I've always called 'em beets, but I guess that's what living in the south does to you.

I've never heard it called beetroot. It's always been beets to me too (also from the south).

beet juice is beetroot juice and beetroot is the actual vegetable (or thats how i refer to it idk)

Beats me! Lol ... Jk

In Canada we call them beets ... And the leafy portion is beet greens ... In our family, we usually roast them and eat them that way, but I love picked beets and beets done in a Harvard sauce too.
