Beautiful Town vs. Bell Boom

I've had it on Bell Boom lately to help rake in some extra bells for my island trips, but I already have enough money to last me a decent amount of time so I was wondering if the beautiful town ordinance was worth it..

Are there very noticeable changes? And are the changes worth it?

I never did bell boom cause making money was easy enoug with the island but once i started decorating with flowers, i had to use beautiful town cause i hated flowers wilting

I have the beautiful town and I never have weeds nor do I have to water flowers...the villagers will water and plant flowers so you never ever have to. I don't think I will ever change ordinances!

I'm thinking I may end up switching ordinances.
Not having to deal with as many weeds or flowers sounds fantastic. (*-*)/

I usually keep my TT's to less than 3 days, so the weeds never get too far out of hand, but if I ever find myself buried in a mass of weeds, i'll definitely enlist your services! (and with a hefty tip as well) haha!

But I do think i'm going to use the Beautiful ordinance. It seems really useful for sure.

I had the beautiful town ordinance and it was good not having to water the flowers every day cause the villagers used to do it for me.
I now have the night owl ordinance and my villagers still help me water all my flowers which I think is great.

I would recommend the beautiful town. It's easy enough to earn Bells, and flowers don't wilt as often, weeds hardly appear, etc. And you can always change it back to Bell Boom if you want to.

Right now mine is beautiful. There are times when I'm fishing and gathering items where I wish I had it on Bell Boom (can make a lot on foreign perfect fruit and perfect native fruit in general). Make a lot more from island trips, too. Beautiful makes for a lot less hassle in game, though. Don't have to worry about flowers dying and don't really have to worry about weeds. However, if you're playing every day it might be better to go for Bell Boom. Not having a beautiful ordinance keeps you a bit busier throughout the day -- more to do. <3 I can see how the extra work would urge you to work harder and get out to do a few more island trips. You'll be rolling in bells!

If you're not playing every day I highly recommend beautiful.

Don't get me wrong, Beautiful Town is still my favourite ordinance and I've been on it for about 3 weeks. However, it does have its faults:

-Doesn't do anything towards grass deterioration
-Have heard accounts of being harder to hybridize flowers (I have experienced this too to some degree, at least, getting hybrids of non-rose flowers are extremely difficult)
-Too many flowers (YES. From hybrids and villagers planting stuff everywhere. I'm slightly flower OCD)
-Golden roses impossible to create

So while it's great to have in the long term, it does become a little stagnating or even overwhelming. Once you obtain a golden watering can, it cuts down on watering time dramatically, that there's no need to maintain beautiful town in fear of flowers wilting. I also desperately want to create some golden roses! Once I go back to studying I'll be maintaining Beautiful Town, for sure.

Mine was on the bell boom ordinance too and now I'm on the Beautiful Town ordinance. I can see a big difference, my flowers never die, there's hardly any weeds, and my villagers water and plant flowers all of the time. :3
It's easy to make bells with or without the bell bloom ordinance. ^_^

And other accounts point to beautiful town ordinance helping with hybridization. I for one, have noticed a huge difference. And it's a good one, because I average 3-4 hybrids a day. Before I had enacted the beautiful ordinance, I would average 0-1 a day.

By this point it seems like it can't even be proven if it helps or causes hybriding to be harder. Some guides say '20% higher chance of hybrids appearing' and others make no mention.

The ONLY downside to Beautiful Town is, you will get a lot of flowers. A LOT. I mean, you'll be drowning in them. It's not so bad I guess, mine is practically carpeted with 'em!

I have the beautiful town. That way, you don't have to water your flowers every day, and you can easily earn Bells at the island, etc.

Beautiful Town - More flowers, less weeds, neighbours watering flowers (Ozzie did before the Ordinance)
Bell Boom - 20% more bells (6.000 turns 7.200, 8.000 turns 9.400 i think, 12.000 turns almost 14.500).

Bell Boom takes the crown. To get flowers, I go to the island. I don't want Ozzie and friends to ruin my hybrid gardens.

Neither does any other ordinance so you can't really make that a negative.
I've never heard this and I have to say it's wrong because The day I enacted beautiful town my red carnations multiplied.
