Heh this is really cool. Ok. First do a space battle and than chose a ship. As small as possible. Now when you get in a ship go slow and go half-way through the white energy shield and get out. This can be hard so if you mess up just crash.
Now when you get out you will land outside the Ship but on it. Feel free to travel the outside of your ship. It can get fun playing 2 player and having your friend try to shoot you. So far it has only been tested on the Xbox version though.
