There have been several rumors lately of "Animal Crossing: New Leaf" Coming to Wii U in full HD! I am beyond excited and hope this pans out... but what do you hope happens with a Wii U version?

Check out many pieces of info online stating: "Animal Crossing: New Leaf: Wii U: 8/7/2015"

My wishes:
1. More closet/storage space
2. Transfer town info from 3DS to Wii U
3. FREE DLC/Patches/Updates

What do you want?

Easier way to transfer igb from one person to another besides retail and dropping bags of money. Would like a patio yard area for a barbecue grill hot tub etc instead of having it inside my house. Would like to be able to mail packages to other towns using fc's

It's just going to be a copy of New Leaf for the Wii U? Not an entirely new game? That doesn't sound like a smart idea on Nintendo's behalf...

I don't know.

I really wish I could answer.

It seems, with the game two-to-three years in age (since release), that having exactly "New Leaf" be released on WiiU isn't as opportune as if Nintendo waited for the next edition of "Animal Crossing." To do that, Nintendo might have a better opportunity to capitalize on success of the "Animal Crossing" series with a new, fresh version. (Simultaneous releases, perhaps.)

I know this: With the mayoral concept retained, I want to navigate the game with zoning control. That's my top complaint.

1. Bigger closets, bigger pockets.
2. 3DS-to-Wii U functionality. Not sure what type.
3. Amiibo support.
4. Gendered Villager amiibos.
5. LET ME DESIGN PANTS.
6. A town for each NNID. Sharing one town won't really work, especially if only one player can be mayor.
7. Lizard/reptile villagers.
8. More public works.
9. BIG BIG BIG towns.
10. More than 10 villagers in a town.

I hope it will be a totally new game. More storage space, new town elements with an island you can swim to, new villagers and more than 10 villagers, much more design space you can carry with you, no grass deterioration, new furniture sets, special visitors and some brand-new event holidays. I would like it to be a portable game again because of convinience c:

I thought it would be a new game. If it isn't, I'll be thoroughly disappointed. They could do so much more with a fully fleshed out Wii U game rather than a port of an old 3DS one.

If their is a Wii U Animal Crossing, I would really like it if they brought back NES games from the original Animal Crossing, I thought they were really fun. :)

So they're just going to do the same with Wild World and City Folk but this time it's with NL? Lame..

I sure hope it isn't named "Animal Crossing: New Leaf U". <--- Lame.
I wish for...

BEAUTIFUL HD GRAPHICS!

Edit: We can only rely on Aya (one of the directors of Animal Crossing) and other people that are part of ANimal Crossing for REAL news.

This comment is just what I would wish for a new copy, not for the Wii-U...

More items
The option to customize pants (design)
The option to pick the color of your skin instead of having to wear a mii mask to get your skin color.

nononononononononononononononono I don't want that! I want a NEW animal crossing for the WiiU and leave new leaf alone

There's only been 1 rumour about ACNLU and that is this thread, to the point that if you google search what you said to look up the only relevant thing that you get is this thread. Pretty Meta.

holy hell, if that happens and you get more villagers , can transfer towns, more PWPs (and not just stupid ones, but more things like the cafe and stuff) then I'm signing up for a wii u....
