I have been speaking names through the megaphone. If you are near a villager and say their name, they will wave at you. But when I said Bangle's name, she was shaking her head. That must mean I'm not on good terms with her and yet she is still here.

Villagers are more likely to move from your town if you are better friends with them. That's probably why she's still around. :p Try and do more requests from her, talk to her each day, send her letters, etc., and she might move out more quickly. :)

If you're already on the friendship ladder with her, create another character. Introduce this character to her & everyone else in town. Then, continue speaking with everyone else and ignore her. This usually gets them out within a week for me.

After I introduced myself, I talked to her a few times and then ignored her. The only times I talked to her is if she dings.

About creating a new character, can I remove it right after?

You're on the ladder.

I'm not sure, I've kept all my spares that I've tried this with. I don't think it's safe to do so until she's out. Plus, it can be dangerous if you don't talk to the villagers you want to keep daily with your spare. I probably should have linked this video sooner. It's where I learned the trick and it goes over every method.

Yes, you can delete it. She will still most likely move out.

So, if I create a new character and introduce to Bangle and talk more to the villagers I want to keep, I save the file, load it up again and demolish my home. Is that right?

Yes, that will work. Should be just as effective as just keeping the house there.

In fact, I don't think that you have to introduce the new character to the other villagers.

Okay. I created a new character. I talked to all the villagers and only introduced myself to Bangle. It's the second day now and Vesta came up to my second character and said she was going to move. Did I already screw up Bangle's chances of moving?

Honestly I've read/seen lots of methods for getting villagers to move out, but the only one that works fastest for me is just becoming best friends with them.

I introduced myself to Benjamin when he first moved in, and never spoke to him again. Six months later, he's still here.

I talked to Merry every single day, at least 6-12 times a day, did every favor, sent letters, and she asked me to move at least five times, in the span of three months, before I finally let her move.

How long has she been in your town? Is she the tenth move-in? Those are harder to get out. If not, just befriend her and do favors for her. Her turn will come up eventually.

I'm using the second character method for this.

Maybe it's conflicting with another villager that will be moving out soon? And once that villager moved out, Bangle will too?

So after having my second character for almost two weeks, several villagers considered moving. The goal was to get Bangle to move. I convinced them all to stay. Today Bianca is considering moving.

Here is my question. So far I had: Vesta, Mac, Chester and Bianca in the course of two weeks, who all wanted to move out. Should I continue telling them not to move, cycle through all the villagers till I reach Bangle? Does it work like that?
