So, I don't know if anyone remembers but I think in 2019 there was a video game called Baldo The Guardian Owls featured as releasing in Summer of 2020 in a direct. It has some Zelda vibes. I personally forgot about this game until recently. It was a game I was considering, but wanted to know more about. Well I decided to see whatever happened to this game as it is now Summer 2021 and I haven't seen anything at all about the game!!
Well I found this Youtube Video talking about Baldo The Guardian Owls. Turns out there is some interesting "history" with the development of the game. It was called The Dark Knight when it was being developed as a GBA game that never launched. The name changed to Baldo when the game was pulled back out for consideration and soon after added The Guardian Owls to the title. The game has been in development for a total of 15 years as a result.
