Bad Timing on Moving Rumour! Please help!

Okay, so while playing NL today I was told by one of my villagers that Willow was thinking of moving. Normally, I know what to do to prevent a villager from moving, but today is an exception. I have my game set to yesterday the 16th, which is Willow's birthday. All day she'll be in her house and I won't be able to talk to her about moving. And then the next day is Thanksgiving, which I'm not sure how the villagers react to or anything, but I'm worried I won't have access to Willow either. The next time I would be able to talk to her about it would be Friday, but I'm worried by then it will be too late. What should I do?

You can TT a day backwards If she hasnt pinged you in the past days and this is the first rumor, I think it is very unlikely she will move in one day.

Like Melyora said, traveling a day backwards is probably safe!

You could go one day backwards with the 3DS system clock, then load up you game and select create a new character. Then with that new character, check Willow's house to see if she's in boxes (no need to save the character or set up a house). If she's not in boxes, you're safe to load up your mayor.

Melyora is right, time travelling back is probably safe. Either way, if she's just started to think about moving, she's not going to move out tomorrow since they start planning it a few days in advance

You can open your gate and her party will be suspended. No guarantee she'll be outside, but maybe since she's the mover?
