Although I have been checking up on this site a lot, I haven't made any posts on the forums for 10 days. If you want to know why, I was completely fed up with the backlash I've been getting from some users, more particularly four members. I'm not going to call out their names, but if you don't remember being so rude to me this month, I'm not looking at you. I'm only concerned about four members on this site, one for pulling a race card on me (when I'm not a racist), one for making hurtful lies such as calling me "socially awkward" (which is absolutely false), one for encouraging people to hate me, and one for making rude VMs to me this past month (even if they're deleted).
To the four that I'm concerned about:
I know that contrasting opinions will cause some people to be rude, but that's no excuse. This past month had a few extreme cases. Yes, I acknowledge the error I made, but am I really doing it the whole time? No. I'm not putting politics in every post (or every other post) I make. Most of the posts I make are either in the forum games or in the collectibles related discussions, where I rarely discuss it. Some of you were only focusing on the posts I put politics in and giving me the reputation of me doing it all the time. I will stop talking politics a lot here. In fact, I'm probably going to stop doing it here, period (unless if I make some memes or in debate threads, but I'm not going to bring up my opinions all the time). But the four of you I'm concerned about the most needs to stop with your disrespect towards me. If you don't like what I say, just put me on the ignore list and that's it. But telling me to stop posting on my blog or anywhere on this site is extremely rude. That's why I had to take a break from here. And one of you decided to make the bad move by going to my blog on Wordpress and post offensive comments or comments telling me to stop posting there either. That is extremely intolerable, and I also take that as harassment. I deleted your comments and told future posters to be nice when they post. Plus, I'm not lying to myself. I'm trying to state the truth. Even some people would believe me.
Also, if you're going to say that everybody hates me, nobody supports me, or nobody likes me (especially when I have a lot of friends or fans), you're only making yourself look worse and not me. This has got to stop. Not only that, saying "bye" to me after I express an opinion is just rude. I will apologize for bringing up politics once in a short while, but I will not, absolutely not, apologize for having contrasting opinions. I want to enjoy this site too, and attacking me for some of the stuff I did is what's ruining my experience.
And to everyone else (who's not part of the four):
Try not to repeat what they have done, even to them. I don't want you guys or girls to be like them. I have been rude in describing the site elsewhere, but it's not your guys' fault that pushed me to doing it. I even apologize for doing it, but my intent isn't to insult the entire site. My intent is to share my full experience. I will be back to posting, but not too much. I'll even share some funny pictures.
One more thing:
While I was taking a break from posting, I noticed some serious drama on this site. Even if I didn't post for a while, I know what happened on the "what's bothering you" thread. It looks terrible. That was actually so bad that it became a forbidden subject. The month of March was like the absolute worst since I joined about the flame wars and arguments. Can we all just get along? I know one or two people are responsible for flame wars or bad arguments, but to participate in them is just as bad. If you're bothered by someone's post, just either put them on your ignore list or don't post at all. And if you do post, it cannot be related to the post you're bothered by.
One last thing, please think before you post. If you thought out a bad post very well, you know it's mean or rude, and you are aware of the consequences, but you still chose to do it, then you're morally intolerable. When I think a bad post, I choose not to post. Most of my bad posts were not planned before I made them. I try to make good posts when I plan them.
So, can we all get along and stop being rude? I might take another long break if people are still going to be rude to me.
