Avatar help

So I fount the perfect avatar. when i clicked on it it was a gif. the starting picture for it was perfect. I don't have enouugh bells for the collectible and even if I did, I wouldn't get it.

My question is how do I use the starting picture of a gif as my avatar?

You can copy and paste that into where it says Avatar from URL or something like that. C;

it says this PNG file has the incorrect file extension. its fine though, the one i have is perfectly fine ^^
