Auto-running?

Hi everyone, sorry if anybody had posted about this already, but new leaf has me running automatically, without pressing "b". Is this a glitch? Is there a fix? I am running through my flowers and scaring big beetles constantly....

L, R, or B can be used for running. It could be that you're pressing one of those buttons.

I was once wildly trampling my own flowers and getting very upset when I realised that I was accidentally pressing "R". I'm so used to doing that for the Streetpass Mini-games to speed up action that I forgot I also use it to run when I logged into New Leaf.

I am literally not pressing any buttons except the joy stick. This was happening yesterday too, I turned the system on and off, and this did not change.

if you are not pushing any buttons consciously, maybe one of them is stuck?

Your B button could be stuck, try playing other games and see if you have any issue.

Are you sure you are actually running? Is it destroying flowers?

Walking full speed looks a little like running, it will put little puffs of dirt behind your feet, and scare away beetles.

Idk errr try to push and hold each button for 5 seconds and see if that helps?

Turns our my R button was stuck. I remember this being an issue a few months ago, now that I think of it, and it turns out that blowing on the button helps unstick it Works for me. Thanks for the feedback though, everyone

haha i was like, wtf this thread is old and then i realized the OP posted on it. glad to hear that everything is alright now, we can't have trampled hybrids.

This happen to me a lot. and I end up trampling a flower because of it. I have to make sure to be careful.
