Hey does anyone else in the UK find it really difficult to take part in auctions due to time difference? I'm missing out on so many of my dreamies because of time difference, the auctions usually end when I'm asleep! So frustrating!

I'm 4 hours ahead of you and I still missed out on so many in the past.
I guess there's really no other way around it though. :(

auctions, giveways, fun contests, mostly happen at night (I'm at GMT+1) so yes I know what you mean

If I was taking part in an auction that ends when I'm asleep then I'd just use the buyout (if there is one) but otherwise it can be kind of annoying :(

It's not only auctions, basically everything is made harder by timezones. I always feel bad when I promise to give people things, but can't because they live in a different timezone. :/

I've got the same problem. I live in the GMT +1 timezone and like 9 out of 10 that I trade with lives in USA or somewhere with a similar timezone. It can take days to find a time where it fits both to do a trade.
If there is an auction that ends while I'm asleep, I mostly skip it :c which is kind of sad..

I do a fair number of auctions, just ask when you post if pickup time can be different. i have no problem working with someone with a different time zone... Although, yeah, if you are outbid, its hard because you are asleep. :(. I would say, ask about pickup time, put down your best bid. But yeah, I feel your pain. i am pst and usually can only play at night, so i am slightly out of sink with the est peoople.

Have the same problem. Gmt+1... all things ends in the middle of the night ;___;
