Well, this was pretty inevitable. Every one's doing it. All the cool kids are doing it...So I wanted to do it too!

Ask me your questions, I'll answer them all. Let's be friends!

I am not only a bird mom, I am the bird mom. I do everything from build nests to shove my offspring out of said nests and watch in glorious maternal satisfaction as they fly off in to the sunset!

I also dabble in the occasional chirp, but mostly just slang.

you kind of misspelled your name in the title :P
ahem, I really like your avatar, it's very cute! is the bird a character from an anime or something?

teach us some bird slang :D

I can try, just remember that it's all in how you roll your r's and emphasise the high-pitches!

Chirp squawk, cheeeepy chirrr.

Nah, it's actually a term I picked up from Tumblr making fun of the word "bird". It's used a bit in the SU community to describe Pearl as well. (If you're in to SU or it's following at all.)

And thank you! Sadly I wish I could say, but it was a picture sitting in a folder on my desktop for quite some time now. I would really like to find the artist, or find if it is from an anime 'cause it IS super adorable!

how hard it is to be a mother of baby birds?

It's pretty hard. I mean, they're always hungry, they're kind of bald and ugly when they're first born, and they also wear socks with sandals. I mean, who does that?

A face only a mother could love. It's okay though, mama's here for them.

Do u know why baby birds are born like very ugly?
Also in what tree u got ur babies? (liek in what country :p)

Well, like most babies, baby birds spend the first portion of their lives soaking in what I like to call "awesomesauce". It's kind of like you taking a bath for too long--You get all pruny and wrinkly. Don't worry though, it doesn't take too long to grow their feathers and become the cute little fluffballs you see hopping around and slamming in to freshly-cleaned glass windows.

As for the tree, it's pretty hard to say 'cause I actually built my nest on a cactus. I mean, yeah, some might call it "dangerous" and "reckless". But you know what I call it? Responsible parenting.

Actually, I intended to have this as a serious "get to know me" thread, since I've done a give away involving those things in the past. I wasn't intending it to be a persona thing, but I figured I would be silly with the title and answers since I changed my avatar (and it was pretty fun!)

what is a birb?

" birb
the popular culture phenomenon that is 'birb' is rooted in the mindset cultivated by LOLcats and doge. birb manifests on both twitter and tumblr.

You will not understand birb if you do not have a sense of humour."

-Urban Dictionary

If you are the Birb Mom, who is the Birb Dad?

Well, so far no one has claimed to be the birb dad to my greatness that is birb mom, so I'll possibly be forever alone! :'( In the bird kingdom, the dad's role differs from species to species. Did you know hummingbird dads are the dead-beats of the bird world? They are only in it for the booty. But some other bird dads are actually very responsible caretakers and mates!
