Argh Redd lied to me!

What a little con artist, first he makes me pay 3,000 bells. Then tries to make me feel like family by calling me cousin, really Redd? Last time I checked I'm not part fox so most likely I'm not your cousin. In the corner there is an item that catches my eye, an exotic lamp, he says its a Redd exclusive. So I leave the store going around the city debating to buy the lamp or not. Before I leave back to Kingston (my hometown). I make a quick stop at Redd's and I buy the "Redd exclusive" lamp for 3,800 bells! When I went to AC Wiki, you can buy from Nooks for 1,800. I'm glad I didn't buy that painting from him. So has Redd ever lied to you?

Yep, thats Redd's whole deal, sometimes he actually DOES have rare items though, you just gotta play it careful around Redd.

Yes. That's what Redd does. You have to check out what you're buying to make sure it's actually rare before you buy it, lol.
