Are these lines messy/bad? Should I try drawing with smoother lines?

I draw best when I draw with small lines to make an overall shape. Here's an example:

When I draw with big lines, it doesn't look as good as what I do with small lines.
I'm so conflicted. ;=;

I don't think that it's disturbing for the hair or clothes, it gives an impression of movement which is interesting and nice, but maybe for the shape of the face and the eyes it would look better if you lined more uniformly

I agree with this. I think the second drawing looks much better compared to the first!
